Today students worked on completing their illustrations of the common Christmas poem 'Twas the Night Before Christmas'. They illustrated the different versus of the poem based on what they visualized while we read it together.
In Math we continued to practice our addition and subtraction and we looked at the number partners that can add and subtract to get the numbers 6 and 7. Students were also introduced to seeing and using brackets in different equations.
In Science we began our final project about the 'States of Matter'. Students are creating a flip book to show their understanding of each state of matter, show that they can identify different solids, liquids and gases as well as know the process of each state changing to another!
In Social Studies we continued to learn about different landforms. Today we focused on deserts and what they can, have and are.
See you all tomorrow!
