Hello everyone,
In Math we continued to work with the days of the week and the months of the year on a calendar. Students had to identify specific days, count and identify various dates and days of the week!
In Science we continued to work on our research projects!
In Language Arts we reviewed biographies and autobiographies. We talked about the differences between the two and words that we could find in each (I, my, me, he, she, we, names).
We also began to put together our skits and class presentation on 'respect' for this months assembly that we will be hosting. In the next two weeks we will be practicing and working very hard to complete and present our skits!
As respect is our focus this month, we have been really working hard to demonstrate our knowledge and understanding of it. I am slightly disappointed lately at the lack of respect that students are showing in the classroom for their things, each other and teachers lately. I think it is a good month to be focusing on respect and reminders of how to give and get it!
See you all tomorrow!
Ms. Koniuch
Today's Homework:
1. Read for 20 minutes.
2. Journal: Do you like computers? Why or why not?
3. Spelling due FRIDAY.
4. Biography Interview due TOMORROW!
