Good Afternoon everyone!
Today we have a busy Tuesday! We began a new morning work Art project that uses various lines, shapes and warm and cool colours, along with Mandarin and Art Enrichment.
In Social Studies students had their presentations about the person and job they interviewed last week. They also completed a self evaluation of their speaking and listening during the presentations.
In Science we did an experiment that looked at liquid up close using magnifying glasses, so we could make comparisons between the liquid and a solid!
Finally we ended our day with Physical Education in the gym!
NOTE: Every year the British Columbia Ministry of Education sends out inspectors to visit each of the 44 BC Offshore schools to ensure that the high standards are being maintained. Inspectors will be at our school today, Tuesday, November 25th and Wednesday, November 26th. We are looking forward to their visit.
See you all tomorrow!
Ms. Koniuch
Today's Homework:
1. Read for 20 minutes.
2. Journal: Tell me about a friends presentation. Who did they interview? What was the persons job? What do they do at CBIS? (Students must write about someone else's presentation, not their own. Who did they learn about and what is that persons job. What are that persons roles and responsibilities at CBIS?)
3. Spelling due Friday.
