Hello everyone,
Today we kept busy getting back into our routine with Mandarin and Art Enrichment this morning.
In Math students began to practice subtraction with 2-digit numbers. This was a little bit difficult at first however they are slowly getting the hang of it, and we will continue to practice.
In Science today we were introduced to types of consumers (herbivores, carnivores and omnivores). Students discussed what each of these were and we group brainstormed examples of each. This brainstorming activity will help students later this week and during the month of April as they work on creating food chains and work on their animal research projects.
Finally we ended our day in the gym for physical education!
See you all tomorrow!
Ms. Koniuch
Today's Homework:
1. Read for 20 minutes.
2. Journal: What is a herbivore, carnivore and omnivore. Tell me in YOUR OWN words. List 3 examples of each.
3. Spelling due Friday.
