Hello everyone,
Today we began our day completing our room mapping activity. We also did a science review. Students answered various questions and created diagrams to show what they have learned about the states of matter (solids, liquids and gases).
In Math today we focused on using various numbers to create addition and subtraction equations that work.
In Language Arts today we read a very popular Christmas poem called 'Twas the Night Before Christmas'. Students read through each verse and had to use their own experiences and thinking to create images for what each verse was saying. We will be sharing them with each other later this week and we will be also discussing more in depth the meaning behind each verse and certain phrases.
Reminder: Tomorrow is the last day to send in donations for the orphanage. If you were hoping to take part please send in donations tomorrow! Thank-you!
I hope you all keep warm and have a good night.
Ms. Koniuch
Today's Homework:
1. Read for 20 minutes.
2. Journal: If you could meet a famous person, who would you want to meet? Why? What would you want to do with them and what would you tell them?
3. Spelling due Friday.
