Hello everyone,
We had a great day in grade 2b! Today we started to talk about 'respect'. What it is, who and what do we show it to and how we can do this. In the next few weeks our class will be preparing shore skits and art pieces to demonstrate and show respect for different people, animals, things and places. At the end of this month we will be hosting the Monthly Assembly that will focus on 'Respect.'
Today we also continued to introduce out new Math unit that works with measurement. We have begun to review all of our days of the week and months of the year, writing proper dates and answering various questions that we must read and follow a calendar to answer. So far students are doing well.
This afternoon students were given some time to meet with their partners and work on sorting through the information they have both individually found online that last few days on their animals. With April being Science month, we will spend lots of time this month, researching and putting together our Animal Research Projects!
Finally we ended our day in the gym for physical education.
See you all tomorrow!
Ms. Koniuch
