Hello everyone,
Today we finished reading the tenth and final chapter of My Father's Dragon. Overall the students really seemed to enjoy the novel and the novel study. Today we are doing a follow up activity about the final chapter. Tomorrow we will begin to review the novel and next week students will be working on a book report and final project for the book!
In Science today we continued to work on our reptiles craft activity.
In Social Studies we reviewed all that we had seen and learned about yesterday during our field trip to Amsa Prehistoric Site. Students began to brainstorm and create their own new technology or tool. They were instructed to create something that would help people today (modern time) to do something. They need to show what the technology does and how it helps to make our current lives easier!
Finally, we ended our day with physical education, learning more about floor hockey in the gym! Students have been really enjoying learning about hockey! Their passing is improving!!! ^^
See you all tomorrow! Ms. Koniuch
Today's Homework:
1. Read for 20 minutes.
2. Journal: If you were a dragon, describe to me using lots of details what you would look like! (hint: use adjectives ... describing words!)
3. Spelling Quiz tomorrow.
