Happy 100th Day of School!
We had a great day celebrating being in school for 100 days!
Today we did a language arts activity using the letters that spell 'one hundred' to create as many words as we could! We did a great job and found more than 30 words!!!
We also did an activity to visualize ourselves and think about what we would look like and what we would have when we are 100 years old!!
We got very creative today!
Along with Mandarin and Art Enrichment class we completed various activities all dealing with the special number 100!
Finally we had a special block today for a popcorn party that students earned by working so hard to complete our 'HOMEWORK' banner in class. Each time the entire class completed all of their work they got a letter to spell 'homework.' This earned them one special block of their choice of activity! Great job with your homework grade 2's! Keep up the great work!
Also today a very special letter arrived in the mail all the way from the North Pole in Canada! In December students wrote letters to Santa and we have finally got our response through the slow mail!!!
See you all tomorrow!
