I hope everyone had a great weekend and enjoyed the mild weather!
Today we began our day introducing our new spelling words and completing some spelling work and activities that allowed us to practice using them and learning their meaning.
This morning we completed writing our letters to our pen pals in Canada, and we will be sending them back this week with hopes of a reply before Christmas!
In Math we reviewed ordering numbers from least to greatest and greatest to least. We were also introduced to greater than (>), less than (<), and equal to (=). Students practiced placing numbers in the correct spots using these new symbols.
In Science today we reviewed liquids and we will be moving on to gases later this week.
Finally in Social Studies, students met with their interview groups for grade 2A and they completed a review on their interviews and planned for their presentations to the group about the people and jobs they interviewed. They will be presenting to the group tomorrow afternoon.
Have a good evening.
